Grade 6 (Language Arts)
Students will learn to empathize with the characters in novels
and will understand and respect cultural differences.
Students will determine what traits make a hero. Activities
include research and writing about heros, using Inspiration
to create a web of traits, and reading literature while observing
the author's use of character traits and culture.
